Every so often, I would hear about the death of someone who made friends with a person via social media and the person whom they befriended via social media, ended up killing them.

Can you tell a person’s true motive through Facebook? In some cases, you might be able to know who you are dealing with; but unfortunately, there are those who can slip their way beneath your proverbial radar.

One of the major issues is: most people go beyond adding their real life friends on Facebook; they add total strangers and a small percentage of those strangers, could be potential maniacs.

In the virtual world, things are not always what they seem.

It has dawned on me that I haven’t been visiting my Google Plus account on a regular basis (Well, I am not fed up of it; it’s just that I don’t get the zeal to visit Google Plus and I am sure that some of you who are on Google Plus can relate).

In the past, I deleted my first Google Plus account due to poor interaction on the social media site.

And, it has been brought to my attention by a reliable source that a lot of people are either abandoning their Google Plus accounts or deleting them.

It looks as though people would prefer to have dealings with Facebook and Twitter.

Although Google Plus is a lovely method to promote one’s blog, it lacks the effectiveness for those who have few followers on that social network.
