Just Pondering Part 695

Skype LogoYesterday, was one of those days I used Skype; I had not used it for quite a long time and when I logged in to it, it prompted me to update it; I did just that.

The nice thing about using Skype is: it’s free! I can chat with whomever I wish (locally, regionally or internationally) without sending up my phone bill.

Hey, Big Brother is spying on us, so I might as well be spied on for free. Why should I pay a ridiculously high rate to be spied on via phone?

Okay, on a serious note, I don’t think that it is right for the intelligence agencies to eavesdrop on our conversations.

Anyway, do you use Skype? And, do you like using Skype?

I would definitely like to read your perspective about this lovely piece of technology via the comment thread of this article.

Has Facebook Gone Too Far?

Just Pondering Part 635

sony-vaio-q42010-eb-black-cover-smI would surely like to see Edward Snowden’s laptop; I am curious to know if he uses software from Microsoft, Apple or some other type of OS.

Sometime in the past, I heard that the NSA had a virtual backdoor into all Microsoft’s software (And, I wouldn’t doubt that the NSA can access any aspect of the Apple software or the software of any OS on the market).

These intelligence agencies have a lot of young computer geniuses working for them and we could only imagine what they are capable of doing.

I would also like to know what brand of computer that they would buy for themselves and what brand of computer that they would recommend for their friends and family.

Just Pondering Part 623

NSA-LogoThe NSA has made a bad name for themselves by spying on their own American citizens and a whole lot of people around the world; we know about this through sources like the famous whistle-blower, Edward Snowden.

But, I haven’t heard any negative news about the CIA, FBI, ATF or the DHS; now why is that so? Is it because the NSA stole all of the attention? Or, the other agencies have learned to keep their figurative dirty laundry in-house?

I refuse to believe that all the other intelligence agencies are made up of saints.

Maybe, as time goes along, we would hear about incidences that had an involvement of those intelligence agencies; for now, it remains: Sensitive Compartmentalized Information.
