About

About Me

Honestly speaking, I was somewhat hesitant in creating an About section of myself since I am private by nature. I also thought that I would have been doing myself an injustice by writing about myself, because I am constantly reinventing myself.

For your information, I am a very loving, happy and curious person.

So far, I have gotten my feet wet in hospitality, writing, DJ work and I have contributed my vocal talents in the area of voice-over work for radio commercials (Now, what am I to do if I become a television actor in the future? Would it mean that I would have to edit my About page? Okay, I am just joking about the actor part. I was making an indirect point and that point is: I am still involved in personal growth; I am still expanding; I intend to be all that I can be).

My hobbies are reading, writing, engaging in photography, going on long walks and listening to music.

About My Blog

When I came up with the idea of Renard Moreau Presents, I wanted it to be the kind of blog where people from all walks of life visited and enjoyed themselves.

This blog is filled with entertainment, knowledge and wisdom pertaining to spirituality, philosophy, social commentary, music, health and various other thought-provoking subjects.

  1. Such a lovely surprise seeing a comment from a new to me blogger this morning. Thank you for stopping by Renard. I’ve just been nosing around your site. It is delightful and diverse. Saw your post about blogging and commenting and such. I am in my third year of blogging and adore it, but found myself totally burned out, and in May, took a couple of months off. I was posting 7 days a week, involved in photo challenges, visitng everyone who visited me and then some, commented to all who left a comment on my space. Whoa!! Stop the presses!!! Came back refreshed in August in a much gentler manner. No more must dos. Blogging is suppose to be fun. When it becomes burdensome, it is time to make changes. I did. It has worked beautifully.

    Enjoy your day!

  2. Hi. Thanks for stopping by my blog. Talk about similarities. I have been a Hospital Radio presenter for 17 years – I left this August as I have many other projects on the go. I absolutely adore writing and I have done a spot of acting. I was an extra in the thirteen episode of Torchwood, series one. I love learning and improving myself and my life and although I don’t reinvent myself as such, I am forever evolving. Great to meet you. I don’t know where you live but I live in Devon in the UK.

    • [ Smiles ] I am from The Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.

Thank you for sharing information about yourself and for dropping by.

  3. Hi Renard! Thank you so much for all the comments you leave me, I love your about page! It’s so down to earth and wholesome. I see you blog about a variety of things too, which keeps things interesting!
    You have a beautiful day!
    xx

    • [ Smiles ] I appreciate the concept. However, I am not into that sort of thing.

I will make it my priority to check out the link given.

  5. Hi Renard, and Thanks for the Like on my post! Besides my regular commentors, of course, I always enjoy seeing visitors who haven’t become friends yet. Now excuse me while I poke around your blog a bit!

    • [ Chuckles ] Your comment is appreciated.

I believe that I have simplified things by placing them into categories.

Please feel free to browse through anything that you like!

  6. Hello Renard, thanks for visiting my blog. Your about page is down to earth and honest – love that. Looking forward to perusing your blog. :)

  7. Hey Renard! I saw that you like my post and I had to come visit your site. Loves! And it sounds like we have a lot in common. I loved your about section and I feel similar about myself. Looking forward to reading more!

  8. Hi Renard,
we seem to be like minded. Being a very private person myself I am empathetic with your thoughts and your hesitations to write about yourself. But we private people have a voice as well and blogging is a wonderful outlet, isn’t it?

  9. Hi Renard

I read about u & I feel ur expression is very authentic about urself.
I appreciate the thought that u r always reinventing urself. Nice

  10. Hi Smiler :) I just read your bio and wasn’t at all surprised to hear you have done voice-over work. I “hear” your voice when I read your blog – very few writers can achieve this level of intimacy. What did surprise me is how young you are! I think you have a very old soul, I have been imagining you as a wise old sage – keep on blogging! xxx

    • [ Chuckles ] Thank you for your kind words, Lily.

Perceiving me as young is interesting. I was born in 1973; some people may consider that as being young, while others may view that as being somewhat old.

In regards to being wise, I was told the same thing on Facebook.

I have no intentions of deserting the blogosphere anytime soon!

  11. Hey Renard…. I was just wondering if you would be willing to have some ideas run by you in regards to Napoleon Hill’s book and applying it towards gaining our freedom back? I am trying to find the core of the problem to address and see if his principles can be applied to it…Thanks, appreciate it….VK

  12. Hi Renard, I’m glad to have come across your blog. Wishing you a most joyous New Year and look forwards to sharing ideas and posts with you. Be well!

  13. Hey Renard,
    Thanks for popping by an liking my post. I have found your tips for bloggers – thank you! I have been popping on sporadically for the last 2 years, and find it’s a great way to reflect and gather things from the inner world… and who knew others have the same desire and love! :-}

Happy New Year to you and all the very best,
    Kathryn

  15. Hello Renard — Thanks for stopping by. I resonate with your desire to create a blog where all kinds of people will find things of interest. You have to be versatile to do that — that comes from reinventing oneself — so looks like you’re right on track. I’ve been reinventing myself for nearly 65 years. I believe it is part of what has kept me feeling young at heart. I will not bore you with all my reiterations. Follow your Heart and you will find an honorable path — always. I’m going to snoop around here for a while. Blessings, Alia

  16. Hey! It could happen! So then, yes, you will have to edit your About Me page. [wink] Thank you so much for visiting my blog and leaving a beautiful comment.

  19. I thought your blog said: Cool MISCHIEVOUS Thoughts. lol
I understand about revealing too much of oneself. We are certainly continually evolving. But what better place to try out a new invention of yourself than a blog. We add a new layer everyday and everyone who visits or responds to us becomes part of it. I see that you have been blogging for a few years, so you must wear a bunch of different hats. :)

  20. Never stop re-inventing yourself – life is a journey – make it a fun one! Thanks for stopping by and liking ‘It May be’ :)

  21. Hi, This is Valeri from the Mental Shovel, I am needing your help. I am opening a mindfulness based community center in Mississippi, and have started an Indiegogo campaign to help with funding. It is much more costly than I anticipated. I was wondering if you would post the link to the campaign on your blog or facebook page. I know you have a lot of followers, and the more people that see it the better. The center means a lot to me. I apoligize for using your comment page for this request, but I could not find an email address for you. Here is the link if you decide to post it .

  37. Hello and thanks for finding the time to drop in to my beeseeker blog and leaving a like; I am going to need all the support I can get as I have committed (a dangerous word perhaps) to writing a poem a day for the next thirty days: one down, lots to go eh?

  38. Thanks for stopping by my blog and reading ‘Worlds Apart’, I sincerely appreciate the ‘Like’.

  42. Iam finally here! :-) So good to reach here! Went through quite a posts and found them interesting! Shall be back soon!

  43. Thank you so much for visiting and liking my blog! I am quite impressed with both your title and your content. I am always fascinated by the number of comments that people leave for some bloggers, and am wondering why that in spite of the many likes, and followers I get; I get very few comments. Can you share anything with me that may increase the chances for comment? Thank you…you have a new follower!

    • [ Smiles ] Some bloggers are shy and they wait for others to start commenting before they do.

To acquire comments to your article, you can ask a question like: “What are your views on this?” And chances of someone sharing their opinion would be higher.

  44. Thank you for liking my blog post! But if I may ask, how did you find out about my blog? It’s in no way meant for the masses, just my social studies class

  45. Hi Renard! Thanks so much for visiting my blog and liking a post in my 2013 Tulip Series. I appreciate it! 69. Hey there Renard, just wanted to let you know that I nominated you for the Liebster Blog Award…here’s the link:
    http://heresnews.wordpress.com/

  70. Wow! You’ve got to be one of the most active bloggers I’ve ever seen! Love the poems and spiritual links. What you pick out to add to your blog says a lot about you as a person, as much as you might want to be private it is obvious that you care about very deep subjects. I totally get the private thing yet still wanting to connect. I guess it’s mostly about letting ourselves be vulnerable, which isn’t easy. Great blog!!

  71. Thanks for visiting me at http://ja2da.com – I spent far longer going through your stuff than I meant too!

      • From what I understand it’s an award in name only. No prizes. Just an excuse to ask bloggers you respect some (in my case) silly questions. I respect your decision but if you ever feel the need to answer some of my silly questions you know where to find them!

  77. Hi – I’m nominating you for this versatile blogging award. There are some rules, but feel free to ignore. This is not a chain letter – no bad luck if you ignore it. Thanks for your great blog. Lisa http://clisawork.wordpress.com/2013/05/07/versatile-blogger-award/

    • [ Smiles ] It was very nice of you to have done so. However, I am not into blog awards. There is a large colourful badge on the right hand corner of my blog which states: “No awards please!”

  81. Dear Renard, I’m glad you wrote your “About” page, your words are infused with your spirit, your energy; I love the way you write. And it looks like there’s a lot to love, seeing how much you post. I will be sure to read many of them. Thank you so very much for liking my poem “Stars Making Love.” I’ve done my “About” page and I’m starting to post more of my older poems (pre-NaPoWriMo, April, 2013), with blog attached! I love it and again, thank you so much for your support. You are such an inspiration! (BTW, thanks for your “no awards” posting… I started wondering about someone who was always being nominated for awards; I’m glad for them but I cannot get into “award” games. I have to have some time in which I am not sitting in typing position! (that’s me, leaning back in my recliner, laptop desk on my lap :) palms resting, fingers ready to play, eyes staring straight into the screen… that’s the only downside, really.) Blessed be, dear one, thanks for sharing your beautiful heart! And for liking my poem! <3

  82. Thanks a lot for stopping by.

I’ve been checking out your blog and I really it. It’s different and has a bit of everything which is pretty cool. I like how you also continue to grow and develop and are aware of that as a person, which not only shows your introspection, but also your flexibility.

    Keep it up!
    Cheers!

  83. Hello, thank you for taking the time to have a look at my (tiny) blog, I feel touched that you did. Thank you!
