A government official could deny the contents of the article and the blogger who created it, could end up spending three years in jail (Provided that they didn’t get the urge to shoot him first).
On the positive side of things, this can be a deterrent to anyone in China who chooses to spread propaganda and assassinate the pristine characters of some innocent people.
