I once worked with a person who was highly addicted to sex. On pay-day, he would eventually find himself broke, because he allowed those young females at work to take advantage of him; they were aware of his sex addiction and they saw it as an opportunity to make some easy cash.
I will admit that I felt sorry for the guy, because he was only working to fund his addiction.
Addictions of any kind will always be a human being’s downfall and the sooner we rid ourselves of them, the better.
Some of you might be saying to yourselves, “I have no addictions,” but if you really do some soul-searching, you may discover that you have an addiction to food, or salt or sugar, etcetera.
I recommend that you work at freeing yourself of your addiction/addictions. There is really no need for you to be addicted to a substance or a particular destructive, behaviour. You deserve to be truly free!
