I stayed up late the night before and I still got up early this morning; my eyes are burning as a result of doing those things.
Logic tells me that the best thing to do would be to rest my eyes — avoid the glare from the computer.
If have a feeling that many of the bloggers on WordPress would still log in to their accounts despite the fact that their eyes were burning (They would most likely not stay as long as they would like on the computer).
I am not into the habit of using eye-drops and I have no intentions of starting such a habit. Pharmaceutical compounds are known to have many negative side effects and I think that it would be a wise decision to avoid the usage of eye-drops.
Do you have any homemade remedies that soothe tired eyes? If you do, please share them with me.
Other than that, try just running water into your hands and then running them across your eyes. I’m not going to suggest opening them as that would be to :shudder: awful the thought of that. But splashing cold water on them may help

Here’s what I know.
Drink more water. Water is the lubricant for every one of your cells. Strangely enough, I’ve been told that if you have dry eyes, you should drink more water. AND if you watery eyes, you should drink more water. Your eyes do not self-regulate well if you do not have enough water in your system.
A warm, wet washrag on your eyes may help, too.
The other tip for tired eyes is to place clean, moistened black (some say green) tea bags on your closed eyes. Some say warm, some say cool. (Please don’t do anything silly like put hot tea bags on your eyes or use peppermint, spicy chai, or cinnamon tea. Heck, I wouldn’t even use Red Zinger.)
My husband just told me last night, that while using the computer we blink a lot less when we’re looking at a screen. So close your eyes while that page loads, you don’t need to watch it.
[ Smiles ] Thanks for the advice!
That’s what Google is for Renard! It will give you something I’m sure. All I do know is DON”T put over the counter drops in your eyes!!! They are the only eyes you have and I certainly wouldn’t trust Big Pharma with them! VK
