A lot of people have been on Google’s case lately. It is the belief of many people that Google is in the habit of violating their users’ privacy; now, that can’t be cool and if it’s all true, why are they still around?
Anyway, if Google offered you a job, would you accept it? Or, would you refuse their offer?
If you are anti-Google you might tell them to kiss your rear end and if you are a big fan of Google you would gladly accept their job offer.
Now, if Google were to change their policies enabling complete privacy for all their users, would you think differently of them?
Google might be the figurative wolf in sheep’s clothing today, but they might turn out to be okay for all in the future (I am waiting to see that happen, but there is a part of me which says: “Don’t hold your breath where this one is concerned”).
Google makes most of its money through advertising, it has to invade privacy in order to make its business model viable. Only an idiot believes that their personal information is sacred and inviolate with a corporate internet giant. I use Google to watch videos and to use their search engine but I always delete my cookies after each session. I make sure access to my personal information is restricted.
