My barber hates it when he has to correct the mistakes that were done by other people who call themselves, “Barbers.”
Occasionally, someone would come into his salon and give him their sad story about how they went by a barber at X location and they ruined their hair.
Nigel, being the gentleman and professional, would attend to them. He usually tells them (if he knows them personally), “You could have come to me in the first place to get the job done properly.”
Nigel has a system in place; he operates by appointment; he knows whose hair he is going to cut for the day and the time that they are supposed to arrive for their haircut.
There are those who would find his appointment system a figurative pain in the neck. So, some of them take the chance of going by another barber (Usually, one who doesn’t have an appointment system in place and operates by the “First come first serve” system).
Some find out the hard way that the barber whom they allowed to cut their hair was not at all pleasing where the cutting of their hair was concerned and they would leave disgruntled or threaten not to pay that particular barber.
I have no intentions of risking such a fiasco. So, I would make it my priority to make an appointment.
Nigel does a fantastic job and all of his clients always leave pleased.

I have experienced good and bad barbers. I am now with a good barber.
