There are a lot of people on the planet who take life for granted; they step out of their beds without any appreciation for it. They don’t even say, “Thank God/Goddess/Infinite Spirit/Universe for the ability to see yet another wonderful day.”
I believe that life is the greatest gift ever that was given to us and I am very thankful for it.
Some of us may be going through turmoil; such as not being able to make our ends meet in the financial sense of things and that can cause individuals to perceive life as, “A living hell.”
Those who are going through turmoil need to know that what they are going through is just a temporary phase in life (maybe, they need to learn from those experiences; their experiences may contain spiritual lessons that would be beneficial to them in the long run), and they will not be stuck in that so-called “Bad State” forever; there is always a way out.
Besides, they have the breath of life within them (which they in turn should be very grateful for) and they have within themselves, the ability to transcend any so-called problems that plague their lives.
Every moment, we are faced with choices; what we do with our choices is up to us; I am grateful for this too — the gift of free will.
When one is in turmoil, it may be somewhat difficult for them to see the light and the reason for this is that they have focused their energy on the negative things around them; which creates more of what they are focusing on.
By believing in a way out and by focusing their mind on the idea of a way out, their mind will present them with a solution to their problem.
We are co-creators with the Universe (this too I am grateful for) and we are free to create or attract the kind of people, things or environment that we desire.
I guess that if people knew how powerful they really are, they wouldn’t jump out of their beds in a grumpy manner. They would step out of their beds smiling and with gratitude within their hearts for the life that they are a part of.
Gratitude is the gateway to happiness. Once not to long ago I was presented with challenging news, I impulsively went into fear (knowing that wasn’t the way) I came to my computer and in my email there was the monthly newsletter from oprah.com. I perused it and saw a piece by Deepak Chopra. I forget the title but was very apropos.
In it he stated that the solution to a problem could only be found above the problem, sort of like not being able to see the forest for the trees, but if you were above on a mountain top, you would see the entire forest. You would see the bigger picture when above the forest. So I think you have to get outside of the mind into the Being for a solution.

I absolutely agree with what Alex and bluebutterflies said!!! I really like this one a lot. We all need a little reminder sometimes that things are never as bad as they seem at first!
