No Lip-Syncing Allowed

If you were paying your money to experience a live performance from your favourite singer, would you prefer that they sing? Or, would you rather that they lip-sync?
For most of you, the answer is an obvious one; you would prefer your favourite singer to sing any day (That is why they are called, “Singers,” in the first place); since we are clear about this fact, why do some of us allow singers to get away with lip-syncing at concerts?

Rumours have been circulating; it is alleged that some of these popular highly paid singers are into the habit of lip-syncing for their supper.

There is no integrity in lip-syncing; I would consider that to be a high level of deception.

The music industry should discontinue the practice of having so-called singers lip-syncing on stage and if any singer is caught doing it at a live concert, they should refund the cost of all those tickets or pay a fine for attempting to fool the audience.

  1. I think you’re right, I think the only time they should be allowed to lip-sync is if they have an illness and singing would cause them damage. Much as I dislike Justin Bieber and like to diss him every chance I get, I respect him for the fact that he carried on singing – live – after throwing up on stage. He didn’t want to let his fans down. Pity some of the others don’t look at it that way as well

    • [ Smiles ] If a singer is ill at the time and their doctor says that they are not allowed to sing because they can damage their vocal cords, they should be wise enough to postpone their concert for a later date.

I would only allow lip-syncing for when they are making a music video and not for a live stage performance!
