I believe that quietude is priceless and that we should appreciate it whenever we get it and if we are not getting it, we should make our priority to get it.
One doesn’t need to be a rocket scientist to be able to figure out that constant noise can send one crazy.
The incessant sound of ringing phones, the sounds of various car horns, sirens, alarms and people talking and shouting at the top of their voices is what many of us experience on a daily basis.
Finding the time to meditate sometime during the day, is one method of overcoming this madness — the madness as what many people refer to as, “Daily living.”
Another effective method is: going on a long walk at a place where it is quiet and the only sounds are the sounds of Nature.
Many of us would agree that life is precious and I believe that this life of ours is way too precious to allow noise to be the dominant aspect of it.
I completely agree. I sometimes feel like I am going to go insane on some people because of all of the chaos in the world and sometimes at home there is also so much noise so the long walk alone would be a great time to get away and get some quiet time to yourself =)
[ Smiles ] It is nice that you can relate.
Thank you for your input!

If you’re an introvert…it’s imperative!
[ Smiles ] I would like to think that it is imperative for both the introvert and the extrovert.

The brain is a chemical factory; the fast pace of life, the noise, the stress keeps the brain soaked in stress hormones. To suddenly shift to a quiet slower life is healthy but will take time, for the brain has been turned into a drug addict hooked on stress hormone.
[ Sighs ] Wow! What a mess society have placed themselves In!
Yes, I agree that it would take some time for a lot of people to make that transition to quietude.
Unfortunately, there are no rehabilitation centres for stress hormone addicts.
Great insight, Alex!
