Pens are chained to the counter-tops of some banks, because of the fact that there are some people who habitually go away with pens; some do it intentionally, while there are those who do it unintentionally.
Even at our workplace, we have colleagues who borrow our pens and not give them back (Or, if you are on the naughty side of the figurative coin, you borrow your colleague’s pen and not return it to them when you are finished with it).
There are even times when some of us go away with pens which belong to our clients and in some cases, our clients go away with our own pens.
With this sort of thing happening on a regular basis, it makes me wonder: When will people find help for their kleptomania?
For the record, I am one of the many people who dislike the idea of people taking things that are not theirs!
Kinda random haha but it’s stuff I like to read/think about =) I dislike it as well and I’ve never heard that word before- Kleptomania… it also seems like banks would be ok with it since they have so much money to buy more haha. =)
[ Smiles ] That is an interesting way of putting it.
Thank you for sharing your unique perspective.
haha =) glad to!
Penapped is what I call it. Ha!
[ Smiles ] An interesting terminology.
Thank you for your input!
Because stealing is stealing, people seem to think pens and lighters are exempt. Good luck stealing my pen, at work i would hide them when I left my desk. lol Personally if I loan you my pen I wait for its return. I only like roller ball black ink. Pretty particular about pens.
[ Smiles ] Thank you for your participation.
Annoying, yes, those pen thieves that deprive me of my pen are a menace. Often it is habit or forgetfulness.
[ Smiles ] Hmmm. Absent-mindedness can be quite the curse.
oh yes I keep loosing my pens, they just disappear….I thought it was the pen monster…
