Many people around the world spray perfumes on themselves and rub lotions on their skin without ever thinking about what is inside of them. Scientists and doctors will tell you that your skin is the largest organ (After all, it covers your entire body).
Unfortunately, some of these products that many of us so willfully put on our skin can be very bad for us. For example: perfumes can be absorbed directly in our bloodstream. Most people who were around on the planet centuries ago knew that the skin absorbs nutrients. Now, think of those nicotine patches that some people use when they are trying to give up smoking; it provides them with the desired nicotine without them having the cause to place a cigarette in their mouth (This alone should be enough to make one pay close attention as to what goes on their skin).
Here is a rule that I have created for myself (And I think that it can be very beneficial to many of you): If it is dangerous to place inside of my mouth, it has no place being on my skin!
Some may think that I am overreacting, but it is always a good idea to be safe than sorry.
Some perfumes and skin products were known to create cancer within some people. So, be conscious of what you are putting on your skin.
I agree with you, I only recently have noticed how many things are toxic in skin care. I never used much anyway but I am going to try and make my own deodorant with pure ingredients. Let’s see how it goes.
[ Smiles ] I hope that your experiment goes well, my friend.
Easy for me as a man to avoid any such products on my skin, however for the lady it is challenging to do.
[ Chuckles ] Lucky you and your point is most valid!
