I’m always amazed at the people who do these self help things, the majority come from broken homes or orphanages.
Probably why I didn’t amount to much then. My parents are alive and together
I do them and my parents are alive and together. Been together 50 years. But we all can improve…
Mine have been together for 48 now. 50 is an impressive amount.
Haha. It is, and they are still in love. 48 even, is impressive. In this day and age? Very impressive as well.
Yes. With the threat of cancer that we had a last month which has now gone (thankfully). I know parents still love each other, even with the problems they have gone through. Although sometimes I think it is more a marriage of necessity now.
[ Smiles ] Thank you for sharing that.
Geez, I just saw this comment. So sorry. Gonna learn my way around the blog better soon. Hmmm, well relationships (all), go through stages. Long term relationships are never 1000% passionate love all the time. But, you would know best. Glad the threat of cancer past…
Thanks
She had more tests this morning and it is “sacoidosis” which mimics cancer. Now we can get back to thinking about their 50th Wedding Anniversary. I just hope that this threat pulls them closer together.
Cheers for her!!!! Fantastic. Cuz Cancer is horrible. Yes! Their 50th wedding anniversary. A scare, can (pull people closer).
[ Smiles ] It does at times; especially critical ones.
It is. I saw one of my aunts suffer with cancer and she died on my 18th birthday. My uncle is also dying of prostate cancer, but a friend of mine is fighting it successfully. She calls it “Lionel the Loathsome Lump” Cancer wrecks so many families
Wow, may your aunt RIP, your uncle find the strength and it’s lovely about your friend. Yes, Lionel deserves a swift kick. But, it’s a touch disease for sure.
[ Smiles ] It is nice to know that it is not cancer.
Yes it is
[ Smiles ] Thank you for your input.
You got it!!
[ Laughs ] Agreed!
[ Smiles ] Fabulous news!
[ Smiles ] There is always room for improvement.
[ Smiles ] Good to know!
